Psychological Evaluations

Psychological evaluations can play a major role in a pain management plan. Suffering from chronic pain can result in a variety of psychosocial issues because of the constant pain and suffering. Patients with chronic pain commonly suffer from the symptoms of depression and anxiety because of the constant pain and discomfort.

It has been determined that addressing psychological needs along with the physical needs can result in a more effective pain management plan and increase the likelihood of successful treatment. Integration of the psychological and physical treatment needs can improve the overall well-being and help the patient become more productive and improve his or her overall situation.

We conduct psychological evaluations of patients so we can ensure their mental needs are addressed as well as their physical needs. This can assist us in selecting the right medication and creating the proper therapy to address the needs.
